Because a day in nature is a day well spent.
Here are the photos from my Blue Mountains trip, as promised a very long time ago (woops!)
As promised, here is Part II of my solo Cairns trip. You can check out the first part here. I thought I’d put together a bit of a list of my favourite places to eat/dine/etc. So here goes!
I finally got my disposable camera from Squamish Valley Music Festival developed!
As some of you may have seen on instagram, I recently went on a solo trip to sunny Cairns, in search of marine life, quiet time, and an acutely desired dose of vitamin D…
I’ve always had a great appreciation for nature, growing up on a farm and then living by the beach, but this overseas adventure has furthered my love for Mother Earth and all she has to give. It sounds funny, but it’s as if my view of the natural world has become more childish. I’m always looking at kids and envying their absolute wonderment at every little thing. Then I read something recently that said nothing […]
So this weekend away was a whole lotta weekends ago (we’re talking May…) but better late than never, or at least I hope you feel that way! I went to Sydney wearing jeans and without swimmers, an appropriately ignorant start to the trip that would change my ignorant (and fairly prejudiced) view of Australia’s most famous city. It’s one of the few places (CERES and Merri Creek do it for me too) where my country loving heart feels at home. Head […]
As most of you would know Canada is full of some of the most amazing scenery, so recently we decided to take full advantage of it by heading out on a camping trip. We picked one of our favorite local spots, Hippie Lake. Its miles down a dirt road so you feel in the middle of no where which in my opinion is the best way to feel when you’re camping. We pitched our tents […]
New York was truly one of a kind. Travelling around, sometimes all the cities can start to look the same, but not this one. The buildings were taller, the pretzels bigger, and the lights brighter. Below are some of my favourite places I visited in the Big Apple… Times Square was unreal! People tell you this city never sleeps, but actually being there at midnight surrounded by hundreds of people is a completely different experience. […]
